Rough Sawn Timber

We source our quality timber lines from all over NZ and stock all common sizes of timber in varying lengths. We carry both SG8 structural grade, and rail grade for fencing. 

Framing Timber

For all your building needs, we hold a large amount of H1.2 framing timber and H3.2 gauged timber.  Common stock sizes are 150x50, 100x50 & 75x50.

Mouldings

We have a good range of both interior & exterior finishing timber including architrave, skirting, scotia, and weatherboards. 

Insulation

Insulation is such an important aspect of keeping any house warm in the winter and cool in the summer.  We carry Pink Batts and also have access to Expol, Mammoth, and Greenstuf products. 

We keep a good supply of ceiling & wall Pink Batts. Underfloor insulation can be ordered on request.

Roofing

Whether you are carrying out repairs on an existing roof, or building a new structure, we have what you need. 

We stock corrugated iron in different lengths but can also order in iron, flashings, and ColorSteel cut to your specifications.  We also stock Solasafe corrugated polycarbonate sheets.

Fixings, papers, netting, and sealants are also available in store.

Sheets

In our bulk store we stock a range of sheet products for both interior and exterior applications.

We carry MDF, soft board, and both treated and untreated plywood in different thicknesses.  We also carry hard board, HardieGlaze, Strandfloor, tile underlay, GIB plasterboard, and much more.



Concrete

We stock a range of bagged ready-mix concrete, to which you just add water. 

For the larger projects, we have cement, concrete mesh, bar chairs, reinforcing rod, polythene and the tools required for concrete placement.

Fasteners & Fixings

We carry a comprehensive range of galvanised fasteners & fixings and we also have some core products in stainless steel.



Lumberlok brackets and fixings are a core range for us, and we also supply all the screws, bolts, washers, rivets, nails, staples that you may need.

Tools

We stock a large range of tools and accessories to cover any job that you have on the go.  From drill bits & tape measures to Makita power tools, we have it all.

If we do not have a specific tool in stock, we are more than happy to source it for you.

Paint & Stains

Hautapu Rural Supplies stocks Wattyl paint.  Whether it be Solagard for exterior, or ID Advanced or Aqua Trim for interior rooms we have a great selection.  Paint is easily tinted in store also.

Also in store we have Forestwood stains, Estapol polyurethane, and Aqualin timber stains.

Paint Accessories

Right along side our paint section is everything you need to get your paint job done - paint brushes, roller handles and sleeves, paint trays, scrapers, sandpapers, putty knives etc.

Adhesives

We have a large range of leading brand adhesives, sealants, silicone and putty in store.

Whether your job is inside or out, big or small, we have a product for all applications.

Electrical

We have a range of electrical items in store including: extension cords, multi boxes, light bulbs, heat lamps, flush boxes, insulation tape, switch boxes, power points, security lights etc.

Plumbing & Drainage

We have a large range of plumbing and drainage products.

For your home plumbing jobs, we carry Marley spouting and fittings and Buteline fittings.

For the farm, we have Byford's concrete troughs, Euroflo culverts, Bailey water tanks and Bailey drainage pipe.

Trellis
Our selection of trellis includes square, diagonal, and oriental profiles in various panel sizes.

Standard panel sizes are kept in stock, but we can also order specific trellis to work in with your measurements.
